Bishop’s Waltham sits in the middle of the Meon Valley, and the B3035 north brings you into New Alresford in about twenty minutes. For patients in SO32, that is a shorter run than Southampton or Winchester, through better countryside.
What We Offer Bishop’s Waltham Patients
- Health checks: screening packages from £310, with full blood panels, cardiovascular assessment and cancer markers
- Private GP consultations: 30-minute appointments, the same GP each time, no waiting list
- Women’s health: HRT and menopause, cervical screening, contraception and gynaecological referrals
- Skin health and minor procedures: mole checks, skin cancer screening and procedures done in clinic
- Children’s health: GP care for children of all ages, including developmental concerns
- Mental health: 40-minute assessments, and onward referral where it is needed
Getting to Us from Bishop’s Waltham
From the town centre, take the B3035 northbound through Upham and Bishop’s Sutton. The road runs directly into New Alresford. Once you are in the town, follow signs for Stiles Yard. Bowland House is just off the main street.
Parking: free parking is available nearby in Alresford. There is no patient parking within Stiles Yard itself, though the practice has a disabled space that can be pre-booked.
Journey time: 20 minutes in normal traffic.
Meon Valley Villages We Serve
As well as Bishop’s Waltham itself, we see patients from Durley, Upham, Corhampton, Droxford, Swanmore, Curdridge and Wickham. There is not much private general practice in the Meon Valley, and we are one of the closest options for the whole SO32 corridor.
Meet Your GPs
Dr Camilla Nuttall and Dr James Coutts-Donald run the practice between them. Every patient has a named doctor who knows their history, and appointments are not rushed.
