The Itchen Valley runs north from Winchester through Easton, Itchen Abbas, Martyr Worthy and Cheriton, and all of it is within a few minutes of us. The chalk streams that give the valley its character are the same ones that run past the clinic, which is where the practice got its name.
For patients in SO21, we are usually the nearest private GP, and a good deal more personal than driving into Winchester.

Getting to Us from the Itchen Valley
From Easton or Itchen Abbas, take the B3047 north through Itchen Abbas towards New Alresford. The road follows the river straight into the town. From Cheriton or Tichborne, the B3046 north brings you in just as directly.
Parking: free parking is available nearby in Alresford. There is no patient parking within Stiles Yard itself, though the practice has a disabled space that can be pre-booked.
Journey time: 5 to 10 minutes from most of the valley.
The Villages We Serve
We see patients from Easton, Itchen Abbas, Martyr Worthy, Cheriton, Tichborne, Ovington and Avington. These are small communities where NHS appointments can mean waiting a week or more.
Meet Your GPs
Dr Camilla Nuttall and Dr James Coutts-Donald do all the consultations themselves. Both hold full GMC registration and have long experience in general practice. In a village, seeing the same doctor who already knows you and your family counts for a good deal.
