Compassionate Care for Little Ones
We understand how worrying it can be when your child is unwell. Whether it is a high fever that won’t go away, a worrying rash, or a persistent cough, you want answers quickly from a doctor you trust.
At Chalk Stream Medical, we are committed to providing prompt, reassuring consultations for patients ranging from newborns to adolescents. We offer a calm alternative to busy waiting rooms, ensuring your child is seen quickly and given the time they need to feel comfortable.
Newborns to Adolescents
We provide prompt, reassuring consultations for patients of all ages with 30-minute appointments to thoroughly examine your child without rushing.
A Family-Friendly Practice
We have designed our clinic to be as welcoming as possible for our younger patients. We know that visiting the doctor can sometimes be scary for children.
Our waiting area and consultation rooms are warm and inviting, featuring a variety of books and toys to keep children engaged and distracted. Our doctors are experienced in communicating with children of all ages, using a gentle approach to make examinations stress-free.

Neurodiversity (ADHD & Autism)
With Dr Coutts Donald’s background in psychiatry (including child services) and Dr Nuttall’s experience in family medicine, we are able to offer initial support and guidance regarding neurodiversity.
While a formal diagnosis often requires a multi-disciplinary team specialist assessment, we can provide:
- Initial screening and discussion of symptoms.
- Support for parents navigating the system.
- Referrals to trusted private paediatricians or psychiatrists for formal diagnosis.
