Visa Medicals
Moving abroad often requires a comprehensive health check to satisfy immigration rules. We offer medicals for a wide range of countries (including China, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and the Caribbean).
Our visa medical services are comprehensive and can include:
- Full Physical Examination: A thorough check of your general health.
- Laboratory Tests: Blood tests (e.g., for syphilis, HIV, hepatitis) and urine analysis.
- Infectious Disease Screening: Tuberculosis (TB) screening and arrangement of Chest X-rays where required.
- Vaccinations: Review of records and administration of required travel vaccines.
- Reporting: Completion of the specific medical report forms required by the embassy or consulate.

Employment & Corporate Medicals
We support local businesses and individuals with occupational health assessments. Both Dr Camilla Nuttall and Dr James Coutts Donald conduct employment medicals, with Dr Coutts Donald bringing a specific interest in occupational medicine.
Pre-Employment Checks Ensure you or your prospective employee is fit for the role. We assess physical suitability and identify any health needs that may require workplace adjustments.
Fitness to Work If you have been unwell, we can provide independent medical opinions on your readiness to return to work, supporting both employee and employer in a safe return.
Driving Medicals (DVLA)
We perform the standard medical examinations required by the DVLA for professional drivers.
- Group 2 Licences: For Bus and Lorry (HGV/LGV) drivers.
- Taxi Licences: Medicals for private hire and hackney carriage drivers (please check with your local council requirements first).
- Motorsport: Medicals for race licences, conducted by a GP who understands the specific requirements of governing bodies.
Please note: You must bring your specific D4 form (or relevant council form) and your driving licence to the appointment. If you wear glasses or contact lenses, please bring your most recent prescription.
